R VENKATA RAMANAN: RAMVAIDYBLOG - A LEARNING CENTRE –BEYOND CLASS ROOMS, TEXT BOOKS & CURRICULUM, is a personal initiative by R.VENKATA RAMANAN, who has taught CHEMISTRY, GENERAL SCIENCE, COMPUTER SCIENCE, BEE-KEEPING (APICULTURE), NATURAL HISTORY, ASTRONOMY, PHILATELY , MINERAL SCIENCE, PALENTOLOGY , VALUE BASED EDUCATION , in some of the finest schools in India and Abroad. The vast learning he has imbibed in his journey of teaching young minds from 1968 till date , would go a waste if it is not shared. Hence this platform is used to share his experiences with his old students and their children, former colleagues, fellow teachers and other students and general public who are interested. Most of the photographs are taken by Sri.Venkata Ramanan and a few have been taken from obsolete books and literatures and friends. Every attempt and care is taken to see that, factual text book materials that are used in class rooms are not repeated here. Sri.Venkata Ramanan strongly believes that, “CRITICISM is a form of APPRECIATION”. We welcome suggestions and criticism to promote our cause for the benefit of FUTURE TEACHERS and STUDENTS.
